A day with Racoma at their studio

Had the pleasure of photographing new local band Racoma. It was a lot of fun. These guys are really talented! Go check out their new self-titled album on Apple music or Spotify.

They have a really nice space for rehearsals but they usually don’t use it for photos. So we had to move some stuff around.

Once we had the right setup and composition we started lighting the scene. 

I used two strobes outside to create the “sunlight” coming through the windows. Because I was shooting with a small aperture to have the whole scene in focus, the sun was not enough. For the interior I placed a fill light on the left with an octabox and another light in the right to light the right corner a bit better.
